Re: Thread of Disappearance
My video card has entered a state of limbo in which I can't really use it anymore, and there's no W10 drivers for the on-board video card. And very much like my video card, seems I'll be stuck in limbo until I dig myself out of this ditch.
At least Discord is still working!

Are you sure the component didn't just failIceborn wrote:Windows 10 is truly as evil as the common saying goes, having managed something that Ubuntu, 7, Vista, and even XP could not: Damage a system component.
I don't really see how exactly windows 10 could damage a hardware component.

In any case. I managed to get a notebook to run NWN and I'm back in business.
Don't expect to see me playing religiously these days, since I started college this year.

Wow so unfortunately this was much more optimistic than the reality, recent playtime has been shot in the course of getting into the rhythm of things here. Apologies to all those who I've missed, I didn't expect to have Moira effectively shelved the past two weeks. We'll see what comes of the next two, hopefully more combined playtime and motivation after work, otherwise will look at wrapping things up. Fingers crossed.Batrachophrenoboocosmomachia wrote:Hi. I'm moving state for a new job, so kind of a lot going on. Next day or few I won't be online too much, but after that I'll start figuring out my new normal availability.

My computer is functional again. Pending some software updates and a data port of all my stuff from my external hard drive to my tower, I'm back in business.
