Bards and Light Armor

We will file suggestions here that did not make the cut. Don't expect detailed responses, but the most common reasons are:

  • implementing the suggestion is impractical, or too much work for the gain
  • the suggestion is thematically against our design philosophy
  • the suggestion is too detailed/low-level
    Keep your suggestions broad and focused on RP benefits, please, not detailed suggestions of how to fix everything.

Now that it's been proven doable...

ASF reduction for reguBards while wearing Light Armor?

20% max (Hide/Studded), applies only to armor, no shields, throttled by armor type.

AMEN but only because chain shirts aren't classified as light armor for some incredibly stupid reason. (Not like that's gonna stop me anyway)

Ehh... Chain shirts are flexible, but still pretty darn heavy. I usually imagine Bards in leather.

With buckles.

And zippers.
