Better late than never.

Post by DirtyDeity »

Been a while since she left, but thought I'd drop this down anyway, to thank a few specific people who impacted her more than others.

Nicolaas Duval - Amana's first friend, and mentor in times of magical turmoil, slowly peeling away her youthful obliviousness. (I know what you're thinking, but that's not what I mean. Damn it, Arelith.)

Euclio Cartan - Her husband for a time, played a major part in the shaping of Amana from a clueless youth into a loved and hated sorceress of Wharftown.

Robert Brimstead - A relationship that is still difficult to figure out. Regardless, Wharftown would never have been a pinch of what it was without you.

Kregor Boldheart - Another mentor. Even with very few play hours together, him and his bramble watch contributed greatly to Amana's character.

Thaddaeus Waldgrave - A little haven for Thaddaeus that everyone hated so wonderfully. Good times extraordinaire.

Amadeo Pneuma - From an oblivious and whimsical to annoyingly and unshakably wise, thanks to you.

Rene Aiirsio - An unexpected friend and ally, in a time of loneliness. Rene is awesome. Shame we had so little time together.

Josh Khan - A grandeur slap to the face. Greatest expectation and greatest disappointment. Thank you.

Amana was certainly a character I won't forget soon. Pigheadedly stubborn. :P

Watching Amana stick to her pacifistic ideals is what inspired Astarial to join the Waymen. He respected her for it but also understood that people who would fight were needed to protect what someone like Amana could help build- and the Broken Shackle fund cemented the motivation.

We didn't spend a lot of time together IC, and Ast towards the end felt bad that he couldn't figure out what was going on to help Amana deal with her stress, but the moments we interacted were fun and had a great impact on the direction Astarial's life on Arelith took.

Kudos to you, and thank you for the time you spent with us.

Ahahah! Voidcaller was the best wayman ever!

Amana was great and the experience of playing a depressed insane maniac seer wouldn't have been the same without her.
I'm sorry that one part of the story got left hanging but can't really help myself. Whenever I find a new point of interest I'll chase it like a rabid dog.

Sorry to have missed Amana's departure! Thank you for all the time and thought you put into her - she was a HUGE part of Helene's development, and just an amazing character in general, in all her incarnations.

Spit my tea. This joke is going too far. I now need a new laptop

Was great to interract with Amana, and for what it was worth, her willingness to put up with the snide dragoness invites a smirk to my face.

Farewell Dirty. Have fun and enjoy the Xmas and New Year time.

Amana Tarrynth was certainly a character to be included in the Arelith History Annals. And someone who developed deep and long RP for enjoyment of too many.

Cheers

Have a good one Diety! I do hope that one day you'll return to Arelith! Amana was always an absolutely great Character to interact with, every single second for like, 6 months?
