Mage Armor and Epic Mage Armor

We will file suggestions here that did not make the cut. Don't expect detailed responses, but the most common reasons are:

  • implementing the suggestion is impractical, or too much work for the gain
  • the suggestion is thematically against our design philosophy

Mage Armor and Epic Mage Armor

Make the spells apply a temporary +4/+20 Armor bonus to the caster's armor- 0 AC cloth armor only (mage armor isn't supposed to stack with regular armor, it should replace it).

This is a nice quality of life tweak that allows a caster to still maintain other sources of AC such as natural and deflection without overriding them with the epic variant, and allows bards who invest in the non-epic variant to use it in place of a chain shirt.

I may be misunderstanding this (likely due to suggestion review fatigue) but if it further increases the potential AC, then I'm against it.
