So, I think I might have brought this up in another thread already. But that was a dozen months ago and I simply wanted to get the current opinion of the forum community on this and perhaps even the voices of a few DMs or developers to chime in.
To me it, currently, it feels like there could be a few more (don't know how I'd name it otherwise) "Unique Craftables" like the orog weapons, the Moonblade and such in the game that are already available to the players. I don't think that there is a necessity for more extremely expensive craftables in the "late game" that'd end up being the nonplusultra for some builds (even tho I think that we could also use a few more of those for the less common weapon types like halberds or clubs).
But perhaps more things with a distinct purpose?
Not trying to turn this into a suggestion thread in disguise, just feeling like throwing a few ideas out there while I'm writing this. What about , for example , a craftable torch with a bigger light radius, colored glow or a bonus to spot?
Or clothing that gives a bonus to bluff? (for all of us disguise friends or shifters out there)
Not saying that crafting recipes, as they currently exist, are underwhelming. The system as a whole is IMHO amazing, especially the recipes that include materials from multiple professions, so big kudos to anyone who worked on that. But there is of course always room for improvement, a lot of it possible without haks I bet!
Craftables?

Re: Craftables?
I believe the only +Spot that's currently craftable is Black Iron Coronet (Duergar only), though the +6 Gift is prevalent. I'd really like to see some craftable Rings - even a 1 copper variant to make enchanting easier would be better than the current recipe.

Re: Craftables?
Race specific weapons are one of my favorite twists of Arelith. But I am sad ogres get no love and are forever inferior to their smaller Orog cousins. Especially when the logic why Orogs get the bonus to their greatsword is. "Nobody is as strong as an Orog!"
Re: Craftables?
I'm super down with any new item that enables new mechanics, and encourages character build variety. Every brycer feeling obligated to go longsword or waraxe for Moonblade and Rune Axe feels lame.
Heavy Flails, Halberds, Handaxes, Greataxes, Katanas, Kamas, Fist Monks, all things that could use some unique-ish stuff, along with just more "stuff" in general, especially rings/amulets/bracers/belts/boots.
