Wish Surge
I know this is more of a suggestion than feedback, but I feel it's still feedback nonetheless and the suggestions section is still locked anyway.
So, the wish surge was a lot of fun back when anyone could talk to the Djinni, or no one, but now that it auto grants the "Wish" to the wild mage that surges it no matter what it's much less fun.
Reasons for this are simple, the chance of a positive effect scale off Wisdom, so pre auto wish you could grant wishes to your cleric, monk, or druid buddies. If you're lucky enough to have them around or you -fate it, but now no matter what it's on you, and no Wizard will ever have a high wisdom so we're pretty much guaranteed to get a negative effect almost every single time.
Could it be changed so it doesn't scale off anything now that you can't give the wish away, changed so it's simply entirely random between all the "good" and "bad" effects. I feel that would make far more sense and be a lot more fun for all involved.
Thank you.

Re: Wish Surge
Wait, it scales off of wisdom? I didn't know that!
Re: Wish Surge
The Djinni even says "Those wise enough...." or something like that
So i'm fairly sure it's not FOIG that higher wisdom = better chance of a "good" wish

Re: Wish Surge
Sadly Wish can’t be -fated anymore.
Re: Wish Surge
I don't mind that, even if just on a regular surge it'd be nice if it didn't depend on a stat and was entirely random, then i'd be happy with it

Re: Wish Surge
There is random in it, but Wisdom will help. You can still get a good wish even if you have low Wisdom.
Re: Wish Surge
I know that much, lol.
I was just hoping it could become entirely random, with the Wisdom modifier being removed from the equation.
Like I said, with the change to it a while back when a wild mage surges it the chances of a good effect are tiny because no wild mage is going to have any wisdom to spare to effect the outcome, so almost every time we surge it it's a negative effect which is, frankly, just boring. If it were entirely random it'd at least be a bit exciting instead of just automatically thinking "Oh, I wonder if it'll be a curse or a cow again this time.", you know?
Would just be nice if that factor was removed now that the wish can't be given to someone else that has a better chance for a positive effect. Complete randomness makes more sense for the class at the same time anyway.
