Its one thing to roleplay an amazing character concept, but an even more awesome thing to do both that, and actually involve people in the process, which is something that always amazed me about this player and character.
I tried UD roleplay for the first time ever on Rammus, my goblin, made as a test character to get a feeling for the Underdark setting moreso than anything else, but ended up sticking around on him way into the epic levels, out of the sheer enjoyment of the progressing plot that gripped the UD as a whole at the time. When giving that some thought, one re-occuring mayor character in his journeys was at first Karla Fateheart, who already then always took the time to help out or guide people, and then later the re-dubbed matron Va'sarra Xun'viir, who made sure the setting remained dynamic and at the same time inviting, for both myself aswell as I'm sure alot of other people. It really is an amazing feat to maintain both of those aspects in a single character, especially in an enviroment as chaotic and controversial as that of the drow.
Sure, alot of people in roleplay tend to get hooked on details like racial aspects, "stepping out of the box" with faiths and all that kind of stuff, but in the end, doesn't that give people something to fight for to validate their own IC views? Which in turn, breeds good, dynamic and interesting RP!
Eitherway, a big thank you to the player of Va'sarra for RP so far, and looking forward to more if I've the luck of running into you on Lissandra.
