UD'ers invasion and Kidnaping

I want to send a Kudos to the Duergar, the Half-orc, Drow Mage, and two goblins that included Doog, it was well played. I am sorry physical blocking of my character interfered with potential further rp causing it to have to have been a drop of my character. perhaps next time. I am Glad Doog escaped the slaughter.

this group effectively invaded cordor kidnapped a guard drug her into the swamps where she tried to escape and captured her again (all with full agreement of conflict between players). they faced off with more and more groups of surfacers while trying to get back to the underdark via stonehold only to get slaughtered by a large party of powerful surfacers.

DM's should you see these skilled warriors of the depths. send them much love they deserve it. it was well played and likely the Best interaction I've had with underdarkers since 2006.

I am sorry for those that died, as the rescuers did bash the corpses. something that I have always found distasteful due to the forced xp cost to rez rather then allowing a scroll to be used.

Hey, I came to the event late and didn't have a chance to roleplay as much with the invaders as I wanted to, because I had to dive into combat to try to save the other surfacers.

I bashed one player in the Underdark because I couldn't capture them after they had gone into the Underdark, and took a second head on the surface after that player also logged off before I could raise them for RP.

I'm really sorry if this was taken OOC, I honestly didn't mean to ruin anyone's day, I wanted to raise people afterwards and 'leave them to die' in the wilderness if I had been able to, but everyone jumping around servers confused that plan.

Again, I am very sorry I didn't get a chance to roleplay more, and only did the alternative when I only had that option. I really hope this is only taken IC and not OOC, as there was no ill will to any players!

I was not targeting you Legacies or anyone else amongst the rescuers, all the rescuers and people we ran into while Gine was being kidnaped from the little interaction I had with them did great on the rp. I have had nothing but good interactions with your characters. the small part on the bottom of my kudos was just a statement of my dislike of corpse bashing as it is something ive seen happen a lot lately and an appology from me that it happened rather then a complaint or a call out to any involved. as I stated it is something "I" have always found distasteful. not that it does not fit with what was going on.


it sucks loseing 2k or more xp because you cant get a rez because the body is dumped in a trashcan or bashed. but it is a fact that it would happen based on the prejudices between surface and underdark, or even between faiths like banites and malarites..

Your kudo could have stood on its own legs without tacking on a bit that sounded like an accusation.

What you may have missed was that many of the UD characters were offered a raise by their captors, but stated OOC that their character would not accept a raise supplied by a (to them) philosophically distasteful surface-scum god.

IMO both sides of that interaction deserve full kudos, the captor for asking if a raise would be accepted, and the captive for, so far as I know, calmly and politely declining.

Please don't go into any server interaction assuming that people will make allowances for your GP/XP/MoD Charge totals. Don't assume that any bashing that occurs is the product of player nastiness or prejudice. IC is IC, and it should stay that way, and I believe that was the case in this situation.

We destroyed half of surface. Thank You. Burning of Greyhammer and destroying Nomad = my dreams come true. The best RP i ever had. Thank You friends for this great day in my life. This was Epic Nix.

Really had a blast, DM's were awesome with Greyhammer! I especially loved the Nomad part, fleeing with the kidnapped guard from the burning Nomad, with all the alarms and gongs ringing. Regrouped the sewers to coordinate the escape, narrowly avoiding conflict in the woods then BAM! Caught in the chamber, fun PvP where Booga tried to flee with the captive(losing her somehow) but got away with his life. Cheers to everyone involved
