npc merchant giving 1 gp.
for traps its says he'll pay..well, More than 1 gp. @Harold @ Sencliff docks.

Probably intentional, traps have been exploited in the past to generate nearly infinite gold.

I also get this, I just sold average gas, and strong electrical traps and only received 1 GP instead of my value indicated when hovering over it.
