Incorrect timing on temp stores

Post by Morgy »

Hello!

I've noticed the carts in Skaljard village state you have to check every 10 RL hours not to lose them, rather than the actual mere 1 hour. This is very misleading and frustrating for newer players.. Could it be amended please? Thanks!

I have since been informed this is the case for all temp shops. (Edit)

It doesn't say 10 rlhours, it says 10 hours...which in game time is 1 actual hour.

Granted, this can be misleading.

No, it very much does say 10 real life hours.

I thought 10 RL hours was a bug as that already seems incredibly short. So is it supposed to be 1 RL hours? That's crazy... are players who have items up for sale not supposed to sleep, and never leave for a weekend away from home without internet? :o

Temporary shops like these are only meant for you setting up to actively sell yourself to those that pass by and then pack up when done.

Permanent shops exist that only need be refreshed once a real life week for things you can just place in for anyone to come as they like to it.

It is a rp building tool. You are supposed to stand next to your shop and cut deals with people. It is less designed to move goods and more for social opportunities. There are many permanent shops that last a week for long term sales.

Ah, I see. In that case, the description is misleading for new players - maybe this could be fixed? I didn't realize there are different types of shops and that this one was meant to be a short term roleplaying tool.
