(Race) Firbolg Suggestion!

As 5%'s are now closed, I suppose this has to come here instead of the eventual roll I was thinking about!


Race : Firbolg

Size : Large (same as Ogres)

Racial Restrictions - Half orc Start, Good Alignment, Unable to use Shields/Heavy Armour/Small weapons

Race Type - Giant

Stats (TBC W/Balancing. But here are some suggestions)

INT +2 (Base 8 from Half orc start)
Strength +4 (+2 from Half orc start)
CON +2
Cha - 2 (From Half orc -4, Firbolgs are often reclusive)
Dex -2 (As a Giant, less graceful than smaller creatures)

5% Physical Immunity

Size/Model - Human or Half-Orc, 15-20% bigger than normal. Firbolgs usually stand about 10ft Tall.

I'll need to look these up a bit but... I gotta admit I like this idea. There's so many award races that seem to be 'evil'. It'd be nice to have an option for a 'monster' race that didn't fit that. I'm not sure from a balence/coding issue, but from a concept perspective I really like it.
