Haya!
So now we have settlment mechanics where food, or water or such doesn't go down whilst you're in a settlment, and may even increase. That's awsome! I thought of an additional option too.
For a certain amount of gold/resources, a settment leader can set their city as a 'Holy City,' to a certain aspect. (Hearth and Home, War and Destruction, Trickery, Ect)
Whilst within the boarders of the settlment, peity does not go down (or maybe even slightly increases) for all pcs who's patron deities have said aspect.
If we want to get fancy, maybe even some astetic change to show this too? I'm not sure what.
So say Cordor is set to Craft and Inventrion - then anyone who's deity has that aspect has their peity remain stable/slowly rising whilst within that settlment. But someone who's deity does not have that aspect (e.g. say, Tempus) does not get any bonuses.
Just thought it'd be another neat little aspect.

Re: Holy City - Settlment Mechanic
I've often been on the look out for new methods for settlement leadership to allow a character to define their city in concrete and diverse ways. Approved.

Re: Holy City - Settlment Mechanic
With the ability to set patron deities for cities, this suggestion was basically completed some time ago.
This too shall pass.
