Book shelf - Junk - Violation?

Hello,

So, I often see junk in bookshelves, Like loot stuff, Never neatly, Just seems to be tossed in.

Now I got as theory the following:

Players toss them in there and it prevents the spawning of books.

Is this a theory that can be confirmed?

And if so, Is this something we should report?

This is incorrect on most accounts. When a non-persistent container has been in an area for a certain interval of time it despawns everything in its inventory and generates new loot in that inventory.

Could be junk made it into the matrix with the new added books?

The talliossans/arcanum shelves were filled with random items yesterday. Still spawned some scrolls which appeared in the bottom left corner of the inventory as they should. The brass canters, fire wood, other random items are just thrown anywhere on inventory screen. I assumed a player had left them as their inventory got full but the number of similar items in shelves doesn't lend itself to that

Players aren't tossing junk in book shelves to prevent the spawning of books, so much as just to discard unwanted items.

If you move the items out of the lower left corner of the first page of the book shelf inventory more books/scrolls will spawn. This also applies to crates and barrels that spawn items.

There's nothing to report. No rules were broken. No one is being malicious. It's just people discarding junk without an understanding of how the book shelf works.
