Hi,
because gem dust is so heavy, hold on these is nightmare for non-str chars, I suggest.

Art crafting recipe
Grind gems dust from the stones.
3x stone -> gem dust of the same kind.

Maybe... not quite as envisioned above. The recipe may seem a little odd to some. But it's none the less done.
This too shall pass.
