Assassin Belt Changes

Post by Dr. B »

I really appreciate the changes to the assassin's belt! I do notice, however, that the wording of the update as described by Irongron was
+2 dex or strength
while the belt is granting a boon to both dex *and* strength simultaneously. Is that intentional?

(If so, sounds good to me!)

Thanks for reporting this, I quickly look into it. The belt should give you either dex or str. If your str is higher than your dex the belt should have str on, otherwise its dex.

This should be fixed now. The next time your char is promoted the belt should have the correct stats.

My belt had Dex on it despite my character having a higher strength.

Is your base strength higher than your base dex? Do not count the bonuses provided by your items.

Have you been promoted since the belt change was pushed? The belt stat update is triggered when your rank changes.

One more belt bug that I found. If you try to speak to the contractor while using polymorph, he'll try to give you a second belt. No idea if this works with shapeshift or other shifting forms like druids animal form, but the 4th level polymorph triggered this
