-Buff Command Idea > Quality of Life Improvement

My idea would be to have a -record_buff command, upon which typing your pc would remember the spell buffs you apply. When you finish buffing you type -end_recordbuff

Then you rest and type -buff and your character will cast the spells in the order and target you designated. If you dont have any allies nearby for the wards that may have been originally recorded, those spells dont get cast.

This would be a simple quality of life improvement for classes like Cleric with a lot of buffs and might save some on carpal tunnel diagnoses.

What do you guys think?

From what I see I think it might be possible but only with casting classes and the spells they have. I can't think of any way of including things like potions and scrolls into the procedure.
Which would of course not include classes that use only those.

Now I'm thinking maybe a sequencer or something like one could possibly be used. That would include scrolls. I think you can edit it to include spells from items too.

Okay so thinking along those lines I came across the "Rod of fast buffing" on the neverwintervault. I'm not sure if anyone else wants to respond or wants anything like that, but something like that might be possible if there is motivation for it.

Sequencer suggestions have been shut down before because they'd allow a caster to instantly power up with a lot of buffs in a tense situation. If there actually was a way to queue up spellcasts though, that could be cool.

The plan would be for the caster to cast the spells at normal speed, yes. It would just be a spell queue so they dont have to click each spell individually every time they do the same buff routine.
