Some Love for the Divine

Post by Archnon »

Not going to lie, the new spells are all pretty awesome. The new suit of shadow spells is really amazing and will give sharrans a lot more interesting combat and RP options to work with. However, the new spells are so cool, it is making me jealous for some of the other classes.

As I watch the new spells roll out, the two caster classes that seem to get left behind are Rangers and Paladins. While they are obviously geared more towards martial combat (though so is spellsword), the pure class version, especially for Paladins, is rare and the spells don't seem viewed very positively. I was wondering:

A.) Are those spellbooks gonna get some love anytime soon,
B.) What might that look like (I'm interested to here what people think).

Right out the gate when an area or a class gets something new, it is predictable someone will say "but what about X". Don't be that guy.

I don't think it'd be bad for them to add flavor spells, if they haven't already.

I think Blade Thirst should be made into a first level spells that mirrors Bless Weapon though.
