Mining bags, at least, are bugged. Tested a lesser and standard bag. I do not possess a greater to test with. I did not have enough material to test head/hunting bags. I'd likely need a hand to test those, and I figure a DM would be better able to do so anyway.
But, I can at least confirm that there is a max-capacity discrepancy for Lesser and Standard Magical Mining bags. Their description lists a weight that is not at all reflected by their actual carry capacity. The Lesser bag seems to be topping out at 51.3 (with the description specifying 175) pounds, no matter how many times Hoodoo swapped it out for a new one. Additionally, the standard is topping out at just over 200 (with the description specifying 260'ish).
Again, I was unable to confirm for other bags, and I have no way of telling whether it's just new bags, recently generated by the loot tables, or all bags, and no one has noticed yet.

It's bags that are picked up from the loot table. Sometimes you get a bad one, sometimes you get a good one. If it's broken, ask a DM to replace it. They have guaranteed working ones in their palette.

Sounds like a new problem. Maybe something that came up in the last six months, since that's how long I've been absent. I've had every variety swapped out by DMs in the past, and they've all worked to max capacity.
