Scroll Vendor on Skal

Post by Aren »

Hello!

The scroll vendor on Skal do not accept scrolls from the scroll case. It would be fantastic to have the same option as other scroll vendors to quickly sell scrolls from your case.

Thank you for your consideration!

I cant count the people who suggested that on the forums here and there. Maybe not loudly enough. Also maybe its intentional.

Skal is about introducing the server to new players. How else will new players in Skal learn about all the spells in nwn and arelith if they can just click the bulk sale to save time. It might sound ridiculous to some people, but a big part of making the server attractive to new players is to also make it harder on them from some angles and make some things a little bit more time consuming. If you need to sell scrolls one by one as a new player, you WILL find yourself in more situations where you ask someone IC about a certain spell or w/e.

However, the bulk scroll sale NPC simply doesnt have to be the same npc in the Tradepost. It could as well be... say.. the imaskari npc or a wandering wizard npc in the new castle...

It certainly would improve quality of life a great deal. Emptying your scroll case to sell scrolls one at a time, seems very counterproductive.
