Making robbing Treasuries more difficult

We will file suggestions here that did not make the cut. Don't expect detailed responses, but the most common reasons are:

  • implementing the suggestion is impractical, or too much work for the gain
  • the suggestion is thematically against our design philosophy
  • the suggestion is too detailed/low-level
Keep your suggestions broad and focused on RP benefits, please, not detailed suggestions of how to fix everything.

Making robbing Treasuries more difficult

Post by Sab1 »

Well cordor got robbed once again, so there has to be a way to make this a bit more difficult to do since ic its rather frustrating to have to refill the treasury each time and be told no way to know who did it. So tossing out ideas, but not sure how hard or even if possible to do. Think my goal is not to stop this from happening but at least make it so there is a greater chance of being exposed. After all walking to Gerald and withdrawing 2 million should raise a few eyebrows.

Make the guy you talk to so you can withdraw city funds keep a log of who and the amount taken it out. You would think a town would care where its money was going.

Limit the amount that can be withdrawn at one time

Make it so only the Trade guy in the town can withdraw funds. This would at least ensure people knew who took the funds out and make the IG writs councilors are suppose to have actually mean something. This would apply just to cordor but could be put in place in UD (not sure how their government works down there), since other towns only have 1 leader to start with.
