Spell focus: Abjuration
Took the feat, it does not register anywhere on the feat list.
The effects don't change. It was available during my level up as a ranger.
If I can't take it why is it available for me to take.

Re: Spell focus: Abjuration
are you talking about Spell Focus, Greater Spell Focus or Epic spell focus?
because for any of the sfs and gsfs, that are plain buffs will not show up in the feat list.
ESF Abjuration grants access to the - ward feat and it will, but I have seen where SF Conjuration doesn't appear.

Re: Spell focus: Abjuration
Yes but it should open the tree to take greater spell focus which is a prerequisite.
Re: Spell focus: Abjuration
Now it states I can take greater spell focus IF i have the spell focus in my repertoire, which I do, when I level my extra epic feats from going epic on a class. But the option is not there to take the greater spell focus version

Re: Spell focus: Abjuration
That's because greater spell focus is not an epic feat. There are some of the epic feats that cannot be spent on non-epic rewards
Re: Spell focus: Abjuration
you can still take a greater spell focus feat as a regular epic feat. Ive done it before.

Re: Spell focus: Abjuration
But for some of the bonus Feats you cannot. I'm wondering if what you're trying to spend it on is one of the bonus feats.
I would suggest filling out a proper bug report so it can be investigated properly, then. It honestly doesn't sound like it's a bug.

Re: Spell focus: Abjuration
How does it not sound like a bug when i take the feat. IT does not register on my feat list or that I took it at all ?
Re: Spell focus: Abjuration
I'm quite confused by your question.Meow2000 wrote: Tue Apr 28, 2020 2:39 pm Took the feat, it does not register anywhere on the feat list.

It is a bug if you took the "Spell Foc : Abjuration" Feat and confirm the level up BUT it does not show in your character description feat list.
Because you mention that the effects don't change but it was available during level-up as a ranger, I'm not sure what you mean by effect because this feat simply either "Protect against lesser issac missile" or +1 to dispelling roll (which isn't very obvious unless you took all the 3 Abjuration feat ). Hence, what's the issue here?
So you took the feat but mention if you can't take it, that got me very confused because this seems like a riddle.
Or am i the only person who got some problem in understanding this question? I can't understand if you mean to say the Feat took when level up did not show or the feat is bug or it's not listed as a bonus feat.
I will have to mention the below if you are actually refering to this instead -
Copied from Nwn.Fandom : Epic ranger bonus feats: bane of enemies, blinding speed, epic prowess, epic spell focus, epic toughness, epic weapon focus, improved combat casting, perfect health
[ I have to stress that this bonus feat strictly adhere to the bonus feat available for ranger, if you meant to take greater spell focus as a ranger bonus feat, it's not possible because it's not in their Epic Ranger Bonus Feat List ]
The usual Epic Feat that you can take is 21,24,27,30 and this is Character Epic Feat [ General Epic Feat ] and not Class Epic Feat [ Ranger Epic Feat ].
So you see, you have the bonus feat of Epic Spell Focus. But theorically, you are not able to take this feat because it requires level 9 spell casting ability to take. This issue has been on-going for tens of years and there's also it's own discussion in the Nwn.Fandom.com
Third Edit :
( Ranger Feat before Epic level ) Bonus feats: favored enemy, greater spell focus
Yes you can take the greater spell focus feat if you already have the spell focus, at the assumption that you are able to take the spell focus feat with the ability to cast 1st level spell. There's a prereq for Spell focus feat as well. After having took the Spell Focus Feat, Greater Spell Focus Feat can be taken at either level 10, 15 or 20. But this Greater spell focus bonus feat won't show in your Epic Bonus Feat list.

Re: Spell focus: Abjuration
Usually, in these cases, the player took a different feat than what they meant to.
You can export the character then delevel in single player to see what's different

Katernin Bersk, Chancellor of Divination; Kerri Amblecrown, Paladin of Milil; Xull'kacha Auvry'rae, Redcap Fey-pacted; Sadia yr Thuravya el Bhirax, Priestess of Umberlee; Lissa Whitehorn, Archmage of Artifice
Re: Spell focus: Abjuration
I picked the feat during my ranger level up. Spell focus abjuration. Then I click level up. When I look at my current feats traken the feat is not listed with the ones i took it. Its invisible. Also I do not receive the benefits of the feat at all.
Re: Spell focus: Abjuration
You should still be able to reap the rewards of the regular focus feat from my understanding. I do fill all the credentials.
