Essense bug with Dale sword :(

I placed a lightning essense on my dale sword, No visual effect, Changed it to anotheer essense no visual eeffect either, even closed game to check if there is visual effect


Enchanted dale sword with sonic 1d4 using a basin, Then added eessense to it


expected a visual essense effect


no effect neither did the fire essense showed a change in effect


this makes me rlly sad

Edit: I added sonic on the dale sword 1d6 and it actually works.
