Ultravision still has the classic everyone disappears when the spell wears off, and restarting is the only fix.
However I'm noticing that the Ultravision 'effect' from spells like true seeing doesn't render me blind when it wears off.
Is it possible to fix Ultravision by removing the actual spell and replacing it simply with the same 'effect' that true sight uses?

I suspect this is actually the Darkness bug, not UV. Darkness is notorious for making people bugged and blind, and UV temporarily suppresses this effect until it wears off. Did you step into a Darkness cloud at any point?

Ooh maybe that's it! I always thought it was ultravision that did this simply because everyone tends to call it 'I need to relog ultravision bug.'
That would explain why truesight never gives me that problem. I don't dip into darkness when entering quarters and the like.

Fairly sure it is Ultravision only. Been happening to my character ever since I got Ultravision wands, I haven't really stepped on darknesses.

Personally, I've noticed this only being a thing after getting caught in a Darkness spell while buffed with UV.
Maybe the spells could be changed as follows:
- The Darkness spell gets the same blindness effect as Incendiary cloud (saveless blind for 1 round on every AoE tick) instead of the usual darkness effect
- Ultravision retains its usual VFX and prevents this specific blindness effect from affecting the user
