Charge items not respecting charges.
If an item uses, for example, 3 charges to cast a spell
and my item has 5 charges left
and i cast that spell
i expect it to survive with 2 charges
instead, it destroys the item
is this intended behaviour.

right but if it has 5Rigela wrote: Wed Jun 17, 2020 6:39 pm I'd imagine so. 3 charges would leave it with 2, which isn't enough for it to use its property, so counts as 0 and makes it go byebye.
and i use 3
i expect it to remain with 2
not go poof
do you see my argument

Whether it should or not is different, and I can see wanting to keep an item still with as little charges on it as possible with some items, but that's why you make sure to keep it at one charge.

Best thing you can do here is submit a bug report to beamdog or post it on their forums.
