Six levels SD, if that helps any.

1) Name no longer changes for "Summoned Shadow". Previously it was "X's Shadow" now it just says summoned shadow. Name doesn't change at all. Disguising and summoning doesn't change the name either and it used to.

2) It responds to the associate commands and even the familiar commands but the description changing feature for familiars/animalcompanions does not work on it. Can not say if it did previously as I had never tried before today.

Pwease fix.

Just an update. The recent shadow update did not fix either of these.

1) It is intended and will stay as how it is now.

2) Shadow is not familiar nor animal companion. So... I don't see a reason for it to work. But you can always change your description before summoning your shadow and it will copy it. If you really need to change it's description, this is what I suggest.

Reply two doesn't work for a lvl 6 SD.

And why was the name removed?

Then you would need epic shadow lord feat for description change which makes more sense.

As for name change, I don't think they need tags over their head. A's Shadow, B's shadow... It just makes RPing harder with them since someone can just come and say: "Hey, look! It have same body shape with A! And it is same race! A must be the controller! " solely by just looking to name tag. Also, none of other summons have tag above their head as "A's Balor Lord", "B's Fire Elemental". Why should a shadow have?

I completely disagree but the bug forum isn't the place to discuss it.

I would be more than happy to have a one on one talk if you are truly serious about the "why should a shadow have?" question.
