Spell feedback: Vampiric touch

Post by Jencent »

At this point this spell do not take any benefits from PM's levels, like Death Armor, Scare, Circle of Death, Horrid Wilting, Energy Drain and Enervate.

PM is necromancy based class, but we have lack of this kind spells. Can Vampiric touch have some benefits from PM's levels? Like HP regen after sucsefull hit or add more hit dice equal to 1d6 if caster level is higher than 20? Or more DC based on PM's levels/SF.
Characters Status:
Jencent b'Ack - Got lost in the shadow plane & Died by unknown disease..
Angwil Bronzehand - Kickin and Screaming & Alive.
Waiting for Skeletons as playable race.

Do palemasters really need it and why should they over non palemaster necromancers?

Will it make the server better?

All necromancy spells get to have full caster level from palemaster so it being necromancy does somewhat help along with linin up with their spell focuses. Or is the spell just weak and you'd like to see a rework in general?

I just want to say I love this spell and I wish it was the infi gsf spell for necromancy.

That would be a fun risk/reward for a wizard going up close! Would it be too easy for a spellsword to self sustain? I mean they do already self healing with melee, so probably not a big deal.
