Autoloot
Part of me thinks this is a suggestion but it's also a long in place mechanic so... I don't know.
Either way I'd really liked to see just a small few more options for autoloot - mainly in the form of autolooting raw gems.
Like looting most things, jewelry for example, they appear on almost every monster and makes for a lot of extra clicking (and since they're so tiny it takes a smidge extra effort). I'm not sure how easy this would be to implement.
I can imagine an autoloot for meat and skins to be helpful too but the raw gems is my main focus here because they're everywhere and require tons of clicking.

So we're very much on track.

I would love if it persisted across CD keys rather than characters. Emote style/text box settings too, for that matter.

Re: Autoloot
Very much agree. This feature's great - So much so that I can't play vanilla NWN now. The only real rub is having to manually check gems, and drag them in. An automatic option for this'd be a nice improvement.
Re: Autoloot
A bag for potions to be autolooted to would be amazing, and a vendor that buys potions from the bag.
Right now they take up all the inventory space and you need to split them into stacks of 1-3 before selling, to avoid hitting the gold cap on the vendor prices.

Re: Autoloot
Meant as simply feedback and not a suggestion- but +1 to a potion bag for QoL- sell contents for the bag kinda scares me tho as I’m sure I’d accidentally sell all my potions lol

Re: Autoloot
I think it's a sign people are uncomfortable with giving feedback if every other post has to have a disclaimer 'not a suggestion'.
Re: Autoloot
Probably because there's been some overzealous forum moderation recently along the lines of "This is a suggestion" *threadlock*

Re: Autoloot
Several problems with this.
1st) Bags. You mentioned Raw Gems specifically, and Meats/Hides. Those bags fill up incredibly quickly and aren't 100%. Cut Gems, jewelry and scrolls go into containers that hold vast quantities (black holes for gems since they don't weigh anything) and can keep picking up one after the other.
2nd) Raw gems take up inventory space anyway, and not everyone wants them. As there is not a quicksell option for raw gems like there is cut gems or jewelry, it would clutter inventory space. It needs to be an intentional act to take "seemingly random rock 43" because as far as valuables go, raw gems should just look like rocks to some people.
I see auto looting is a "HEY THATS SHINY!" kind of thing. Raw gems and Meats don't really fit the criteria of a first pass "hey I can make a buck off this" sort of item. It needs to have some level of dedication to pick them up.
Not -everything- needs to be autolooted.

Re: Autoloot
I don't see how any of these are actually problems.
The autoloot menu already has like six options you can select for the items. Don't want potions and heal kits to be looted? Fine, don't turn it on.
I don't see how it could suddenly be a problem to pick up unwanted items when it already isn't the case.
Also raw gems were reduced to 01 weight instead of 03. The bags don't fill up quickly at all.
