Mechanical Way for Government Officials to See Citizenship
As a player that has been part of Governmental bodies on the server from time to time, it would be highly useful if there was a way for those in Elected/Assigned positions (Chancellor, Mayor, etc) to be able to ask the Settlement Representative (Whatever the person that gives Citizenship is called) for a list of all concurrent citizens, or a simple way that an Examine would show what settlement the target is part of, though I can see that being abused.
More or less: Citizenship shouldn't be overly hard to prove for someone, and currently the only way to mechanically know if someone is a citizen is to drag them to the Settlement Representative and have them speak to them and check the Dialog spoken, and even that feels scummy and meta, at least to me.

If there is not a known way that this might be abused I am all for this.

This used to exist. It was removed for one reason or another.

Re: Mechanical Way for Government Officials to See Citizenship
Without the ability to remove citizens, I think that this is less of an issue. But I still think it is an issue. I think it can reveal things like say, parties gathering to gain power in an area, leading to more stablization of governments and - honestly? I'm really not sure I like that idea at all. Rejected.
This too shall pass.
