I finally got ward and decided to use it. And already tried to use it twice against other players in friendly pvp.
And cant say it works as the description says enemies entering the circle have to make a will save or be paralized.
Thing is i get people entering and leaving the circle and not feeling the effects. Didn't see the will dc dice roll...and neither the guys who fought me. I did see it work on a summoned creature once. Only once. So for a permanent spell it is not doing his work well as the description says. Either the description is misleading or the spell is all bugged.
Also i heard the ward option that works for teleport is something i can be complained about using because of scry. Really didnt understand it. If someone could help me understand what is the teleport ward bug toward scry i would like to know because i dont want exploit it by mistake.

Re: Ward seems broken
I can't speak on the bug itself, but there are two commands, "-ward" and "-ward teleport". The former will create the effect you have mentioned in your post and the latter specifically prevents players from teleporting out of an area. This is where the teleport ward towards scry exploit comes in. If you know a player is scrying on you and you activate the teleport ward while they are actively scrying the area, then it prevents them from leaving the area when scry ends, causing them to become stuck. Basically, do not lock down a player and cause them to become stuck with the ward teleport command as this is considered an exploit.
Re: Ward seems broken
Ok...but can i use the -ward teleport as a way to prevent people to scry me? If i dont know i am being scried can i use that spell to make sure that if someone do scry me...he gets stucked? and so cause in the long turn that they stop scrying me?
Otherwise what is the function of -ward teleport? i cant remember a single time i didnt want ppl to teleport. If i get aggressive towards someone else he already cant telepor away.

Re: Ward seems broken
Yes, I've seen people use -ward teleport to prevent people from scrying before an important conversation begins, which is different from intentionally and maliciously trapping their character.
Re: Ward seems broken
ok i will use it that way.
But still i think the -ward is bugged. Not working as the description or the wiki says it should be working at all.
