PC tracks

We will file suggestions here that did not make the cut. Don't expect detailed responses, but the most common reasons are:

  • implementing the suggestion is impractical, or too much work for the gain
  • the suggestion is thematically against our design philosophy
  • the suggestion is too detailed/low-level
    Keep your suggestions broad and focused on RP benefits, please, not detailed suggestions of how to fix everything.

PC tracks

Require a search check for non-rangers to see PC tracks at all.

A PC that sees some PC tracks will be able to click the tracks (like a ranger) to see the following information:
1) The size of the PC (not the specific race like a ranger sees, just whether the PC is a small- or medium-sized)
2) The direction of travel
3) (attunement, if the tracker has SF: divination)

Rangers would continue to track as they do now, with the addition of number 3 above.

The point of this suggestion is to allow for a three tiers of tracking ability: none at all, minimal, and ranger.
