Bard and languages

wiki say:

Learning language Bard (+1 per 10) levels contribute to the total number of language you can learn.

having learned 2 languages on a 14 base int bard that's lvl 26.

i should be able to learn 2 more languages and i have learned 2 and got them to 100%.

but iam unable to gain any progress in the 3rd or 4rd.

iam not sure if it's because she already had max languages when they added that option. since it's an old character and she been re-leveled a few times.

Did you try with characters speaking for a bit? I know that if you try using tutors you cannot gain progress, and the same happens to monks, but learning from other characters should be fine.

picked up a phrasebook for a more commonly spoken language and got 1% from listening. i guess that was it. thanks.
