unable to take levels in shadow dancer with shadow mage

Description of Bug Experienced:

the wiki states that a shadow mage can take shadow dancer after 3 levels of shadow mage.
at level 4 i did not have the option to take shadow dancer levels.
My character has an appropriate diety according to the wiki (mask) and took the shadow mage path on creation.

OR Class/path: Shadow Mage (3 levels of Shadow Mage and at least 5 total character levels)

You need 5 levels over all.
