Guldorand City Temporary Ships

Post by Woper_The_Black »

The 2 Temporary ships that are purchasable in the new guldorand city port don't seem to be working.
Step 1. Purchase one of the 2 temp ships labelled Irone Throne Courier for 2500 gold and get the dialog confirmed it is your ship. Go to rename the ship and get the dialog "This quarter can not be renamed" Slip through the transition to the pier and go to the dock where the 2 Iron Throne Couriers are docked. Click on either one (not sure which one as they can't be renamed) try to board and get the message "You don't have the means to access this ship". Go back to the ship rental plaque and it still says I own the ship....

There are still some issues with the temp ships. I've found with even temp ships that they can be renamed, but the irone couriers can't. Tried today to hire and was able to hire the ship but not rename. The hiring worked and I was able to party with another and board the ship and set destination for skaljad. There was a door on the deck to a room but was not accessible. Took the transition to the below deck to look around and found the chest full of gear and a full set of crafting equipment labelled the shields of guldorand...Went back up on deck and the door previously grayed out was accessible, entered and saw a podium with a ship log on it, transitioned back out to the deck and found the ship had stopped. Went up to the captain and he no longer recognised me as the owner. Went to the boatswain and found that we were back at the guldorand docks, disembarked and went back into the city and checked and I was still the ships owner. Sorry it's so long winded but thought I'd try and be as inclusive as I could. I didn't go back to test further as it was a bit late for me. Hope this helps to fix.

Apparently these two Iron Throne Couriers can not be renamed, you should get a message about this when trying to do so in the logs. I think this is by design from Irongron.

The Deck areas have a fix, they are not supposed to have a lower Deck and went to another ship entirely (That is almost the same as these two but different). That should fix any of the issues you addressed.
