Small druid forms

I'd like an option to stay the smaller animal forms if I could. Sometimes I just want to be smol and not some snarling dire animal.

I've got to agree, normal animal sizes would be preferred over being a rat the size of a wolf.

I could see it being weird for a tiny mouse or spider or whatever having the epic powers of a druid. But then again my animal companion does 10d6 sneak attack damage with ridiculous STR etc. and it is smaller than I am by a lot (both my spider and rat druids).

Even so, I'd take a nerfed combat utility if I could just be small.

I really, really, really miss the old non-dire versions of things.
