PGCC usefulness
The PGCC's use is limited to how updated it is kept. I'm not sure who is responsible for it or who to reach out to with an offer to help, but I can see a number of ways that it would be greatly improved for players wishing to use it:
- Update stores to carry all possible crafted items OR update crafting to include recipes that are on Arelith. At the moment there is a lot of content missing from the crafting recipes on PGCC which have been live for a while on the main servers. e.g. It is impossible to test Cavalier properly without having access to cavalry weapons.
- Update stores to provide all scrolls. These can be important for characters that use Lore. You currently cannot get access to scrolls unless you're using specifically the 'complete my spellbook' option for a wizard, other classes are left out.
- Update stores to provide player-made potions/wands. There are some very common ones that would be useful to have available on the PGCC. Alternatively a script that produces whatever desired wand/brewed potion consistent with what a character might get on the main server.
I'm sure that many other players would also be willing to help if it's just a matter of creating these items in the palette.

A quote from Spyre in this near identical thread started 4 days ago. viewtopic.php?f=37&t=32802Spyre wrote: Sun Mar 14, 2021 10:25 pm PGCC requires a lot of manual updates by myself to keep it updated.
Will get to it within the year. I need free time first.

More of the suggestion end it would be amazing if there was a NPC that could somehow make player-made wands.

Re: PGCC usefulness
Honestly I wish I could just slap ALL of my build's gear stats (except ac because the division into modifiers) into a single item and call it a day. It would make a lot more sense than updating the pgcc with new added items every few updates and that before we even talk about all of the RNG and niche vendor items that are perfectly reasonable to build around but also dont exist in the pgcc. I hope at some point, someone who knows how, will take the initiative to add an item generator npc that can make literally any item.

Re: PGCC usefulness
The vanilla PGCC has such a generator and it was removed for Arelith's custom module. I'd like to see that too as it would be nice to use it to quickly approximate the gear you know you'll have. Just slap a disclaimer on it that you are making custom items you won't have access to in game.
I'd also like to see a command to clear your PGCC vault of old test characters, if that were easy to add.

Locking this, I thought I did earlier but I guess not. Please take the conversation to the other thread.
