almost ever time i come to Cordor I crash just as I see the last temp shop before the gates (regardless of advertisements)

Yup, it's been there for a while. Just as you crest the hill coming up on the Player Owned house at the very top of the hill as the terrain levels out, it crashes alot RIGHT THERE in that spot for some reason.
