Contributions (kind of suggestion)

Hello,

I have seen frequently that there are people volunteering for contribution work who are stuck in the 'how to join' process either with their DMs or e-mails at arelith gmail drowning between other messages.

Perhaps it is worth considering making one or two contributor recruitment windows annually (similar to how DM recruitment works).

A sample process could look like this:
1) Announcement being made and the way to contact is provided.
2) Current Dev/contributors could review the applications, chat with people, and create a shortlist.
3) Irongron could review the shortlist.
4) Current Dev/contributors can finalize the recruitment.

This could be paired with a suggestion forum opening once the fresh contributors are onboarded.
