Better transparency on the property update's reasoning would be nice
I won't name names, but considering that some of the properties included/excluded from the guildhouse and leasing update changes, for being civic buildings, are owned by devs I think it would be appropriate if there was more of an explanation for why each building was chosen even if it was only a sentence or two. I'm aware I could be less vague but identifying the properties I have in mind would be identifying the owners in this case.

I think I made it clear why some buildings are excluded. These generally aren't houses, but areas with a distinct RP requirement, offering vital services to settlements.Wings of Peace wrote: Wed May 19, 2021 11:20 pm I won't name names, but considering that some of the properties included/excluded from the guildhouse and leasing update changes, for being civic buildings, are owned by devs I think it would be appropriate if there was more of an explanation for why each building was chosen even if it was only a sentence or two. As for being owned by devs? Anyone that has played here for any length of time will know that I regularly update a great many areas, and players can very often experience surprise updates and expansions to properties they own. I don't play with any of the devs, and I've no idea, what, if any, properties they own.

I know I've been very critical of the auction style format change but as far as the why and being transparent I don't think the team could have done a better job.Wings of Peace wrote: Wed May 19, 2021 11:20 pm I won't name names, but considering that some of the properties included/excluded from the guildhouse and leasing update changes, for being civic buildings, are owned by devs I think it would be appropriate if there was more of an explanation for why each building was chosen even if it was only a sentence or two. The reasoning is well known. The decion was (while divisive) clear and well laid out.
Guildhouses are pretty identifiable and it makes sense to exclude them but also hold higher requirements to hold them

Better quit toxic discords that accuse favoritism as some sort of reasoning. I've never know Irongron to ever, ever engage in that kind of partisanship.
