Can't choose height when making an Elf Cleric

I've noticed this problem on few race-class combos, but the one that I remember right now would be elf (Specifically sun elf, will update after I test the others) cleric.
The creation of said character does not prompt the "Choose height for your character" screen, and after the prompts are over, using -height command gives you the "You have already entered a height for this character".

Small thing, but I've noticed it for some time. I'll update as I test characters through and see on which characters this applies to.

I've noticed you don't always get the option to choose a height when you remake a character (same "You have already entered a height for this character" message.)

Are these names already used and you had just deleted before waiting for a reset?
Is it every time?
Is it only every now and then?

I have met this bug on a lot of characters, I've made several differently named elf clerics;
for example, I created a completely new character, with completely new name and subrace, and the thing doesn't prompt. This happens on creating cleric, every time.
I create character -> It asks what reward to use -> I choose not to use any (-> On humans it asks background) -> Gifts -> Path -> Done. It doesn't prompt the height one after, and I had this in live and pgcc.

I had the same problem on my Sun elf healer cleric. I didn't get the option of choosing height at creation and have been told the DMs cannot fix it themselves.

Character: Fae'lana (she was created Dec 16th after I found out you cannot take healer on a DM delevel )

EDIT: Just tried it on the PGCC and didn't get the height-selection, either:
Sun elf cleric
Chose minor award for reduced ECL
Chose wis, int and hunter gifts
Chose Healer path
Once confirming the Healer path - the dialogue exited.

Now that cleric was brought up, I'm fairly sure that my last one also did not get the option to pick a height, this was 2-3 months ago? Didn't think much of it and I was able to change it in the creation screen using -height. That is, if I'm remembering right.

I have been told same before when I've asked, which is unfortunate. I mean, it's not /huge/ deal, but for me personally character height is large part of me feeling good with them, so it hinders me enough to not create the character I'd like to

DMs have been told not to adjust characters with pre-existing height. They do have a tool that can appropriately adjust it should a bug arise.

However, up until this point, I am still unable to replicate this.

Fae'lana was a -remake - although without the original surname (as I couldn't remember how to spell it...)

But the one I made on the PGCC was not a remake and with a default generated name and had no prompt on either.

Just provoked the error again - here are the exact steps:
Gender: Female
Race: Sun elf
Alignment: NG
Class: Cleric
Attributes: 13 8 12 16 17 8
Feats: SF:Transmutation
Entered game
Chose: no awards
Chose: Major gift of int
Chose: Major gift of wis

No, i have tested with 8 clerics now all fresh brand new info it never offers size's

i also did 8 tests as non-cleric and i was offer'd the resize gump every time.

also test it with the Race of Sivf. do -not- use human.

Found a workaround for this: if you write the -height command /before/ the initial choice box of gifts, background path etc. closes it lets you set the height normally, but if trying to use the -height command after the box closes, it claims you've used the command already.

Description

There appears to be a bug when choosing the Cleric class as an Elf. After the path selection options, the height options do not appear. The -height command also does not work due to being auto-scaled at the start, making it say the a height has already been chosen. At least for me, when choosing Elf Cleric I am locked into a default height and unable to change.
Are DM's able to change it or should I wait until this is resolved?

Steps to reproduce

Choose any elf when making a cleric. The height dialogue won't appear after path choice and you will be locked out of the -height command.

Well at least it's not just me! I can't seem to get your workaround to work though. You mean select your height before proceeding to the gift choices? I just tried it and it still automatically changes my height when I enter the gift selection. I can choose my height manually before that, if I make myself short as soon as I make the character it works. But then when I get to the gift choices it'll scale me back to a larger size and lock me out of manually selecting it as it normally would.
