Generic Kudos

Post by Shadowy Reality »

Salissa, Rhynn, Tamarie, Alydra, Virgil, Orl are a few characters I've played.

Just wanted to give a big kudos to everyone who has interacted with them over the years, far too many to name (or me to remember), you likely know who you are.

ORL! I loved Orl, even if he drove Storm to drink. Playing that kind of utter literal char is such a challenge and I think you did amazingly well.

Virgil too. Virgil was A BAD GUY but he was a bad guy with a cool player who was willing to bend to let little good guys have fun, and I think that's just the mark of an awesome player.

Also I played an Aly'dra too. So bonus points. LOL

That you played both Orl and Salissa, for example, says a whole lot about your talent as a roleplayer. Mega kudos to you. Mega kudos.
This too shall pass.

(I now have a DM Discord (I hope) It's DM GrumpyCat#7185 but please keep in mind I'm very busy IRL so I can't promise how quick I'll get back to you.)

Wait...

WAIT....

You played Tamarie AND Virgil?

THAT explains it! The two best played Malarites, on the game, period. I'm sad that Virgil's presence dropped off at a point that almost felt too early. The conflict from both was great, and great testimony that PvP does not have to equal ganking.

Thanks for adding some story driving conflict in to the Bramble. Twice! Kudos to you.

Alydra is my hero. Bring her back and I will 10/10 play the UD again.

Every character in that list has been rolled, the exception being Orl. On a sidenote, I think before leaving Alydra gave most of her belongings either in person or leaving them by the Temple's storage.

And yes Kregor, both. Unfortunately Tamarie's end came quite fast, I think she was at 1 MoD when I finally rolled her. While playing her I discovered how cool the Malarite dogma was, so I decided to later give the concept a twist and go at it again, in came Virgil.

I try to stay away from repeating myself, I find it very interesting to do something completely different, going out of my comfort zone be it in terms of concept, classes or lore.

Last months have been hectic in RL, thus my playtime ceased altogether. In the future I'll try to maybe resume Orl for a while, then move to something else.

Oh wow.. I obviously didnt read that right. You played Orl and Virgil?

Thanks for what few times we RPed then. Your characters always seem to have the desired effect, and with that, I really feel like you took the chance to go about having bits of RP with every person. With Orl, I found he'd often just wander in Janicks path and say the odd thing to him. Which meant a lot because at the time I really wasnt as confident in initiating anything with people.

Characters like yours are a big help. Virgil was a nutter, when My character first met him standing at the back of a Cossack meeting hall he told him he didnt want them interupting his "hunt" ... He thought Virgil meant deer or something. How wrong he was.
