Wanted to post this earlier, but ended up getting wrapped up with a job transition.
Unfortunately I could never seem to balance fast-paced workplaces and roleplaying communities, so I had to quit NWN altogether.
While I regretfully cut Eddie Lark's story short, it was an absolute honor to write with and learn from so many skilled storytellers.
Thanks for letting me be a part of your world, and thanks for not immediately killing Eddie on sight as soon as I emoted him pulling out a bottle of 'enchanted bathing water' (though that would have been well deserved).
Onto the Kudos in vaguely chronological order
(there's a lot as I had the fortune to meet so many great roleplayers):
[Skal Chars]
(Deminon of Minmir) - One of the starting catalysts for Eddie's character development. Loved hearing about his history. Thanks for breathing both life and danger into Skaljard, and for continually terrifying Eddie (he never got rid of that dagger).
(Annthor Steel, Egar Horst, Solorona Tahl'isarsafifi) - A group of excellent characters that made Skal an exciting starting point. Thanks as well for making leaving Skal so memorable.
To Annthor Steel - An awesome character concept, wish I had gotten a chance to interact with you more after Skal.
To Egar Horst - Your improv is hilarious, thanks for playing along with my char's gimmick and for adding to his unending paranoia.
To Solorona Tahl'isarsafif - An absolute joy to roleplay with, I adore your writing style, and your bit of continually making Eddie's name longer never failed to make me smile. Wish they had gotten more of a chance to catch-up.
(Lonna Silverwater) - Wonderful storyteller, enjoyed the extremely rare opportunity to wade through a dungeon as a commoner. I appreciate how you'd add tension to the sketchy interactions with Eddie. Thanks for letting me listen in to a bit of your character's history.
(Lord Duthorn Glimmershield) - Our interaction was brief, but very memorable at a stressful point for my character. Thanks for allowing me to build on my character's motives. I love your style of prose.
(Kitara Heartguard) - Your auction of misfortune were amazing. I love the concept and your character, it's great to see another follower of Lady Misfortune played so well.
(Vanariel) - Our characters briefly interacted, but I adored your character gimmick. The level of effort you put into the banter between Vanariel and Shin was a pleasure to read.
[Cordor Chars]
(Malia Davenward, Malie Aylomen) - You both made learning the in-game market much more enjoyable for a NWN novice.
It was great to instantly embarrass Eddie's in front of the Trade Minister of Cordor, and to cower before Malie's assertiveness.
(Baron Tenkahamin Tristam) - We only interacted a few times, but you absolutely nailed the portrayal of a noble. Thanks for making the world feel more mysterious and complex.
(Kathika Farren) - The woman 'cursed against magic'. You simultaneously terrified and intrigued Eddie with your character's engaging personality. You also gave him another rare opportunity to face his flaws by delving into the Cordor Crypts- Thanks for all the great roleplay.
(Gurogin Kask) - That bit with the arm was awesome, thanks for the quick and memorable interaction.
("GK") - One of the biggest influences in Eddie's character development. Thanks for reaching out and making a story out of standing by a temporary shop. The effort you put into your character and prose is inspiring. I appreciate your character's complex motives and morals, they were fun to have Eddie play around.
(Vallerie Walvish) - A serious and well-played paladin, you put a lot of effort into your roleplay and I greatly appreciate it. Thanks for letting Eddie scam your character, then letting Eddie come up with an alternative way to 'lessen the debt' when he promptly panicked about scamming a Justiciar.
(Myla Hawke) - We only briefly interacted, but I loved your writing. Thanks for making peddler RP so engaging.
(Savannah Tucker) - I am so sorry for making you purchase 'as much coffee as Cordor law permits', thank you for your sacrifice and I hope I didn't leave you with lasting wrist injury. You successfully armed my character for the entirety of his time on Arelith and you made Cordor feel more alive.
[Guldorand Chars]
(Gregor Blackbreath, Ravenna) - I could write a thesis of good words about both of your roleplaying abilities. I adored how well you two played off eachother.
To Ravenna - A sort of apprehension and simultaneously relief to Eddie while in the Freeport. Very unique character and engaging writing style. You balance humor and intrigue excellently.
To Gregor Blackbreath - The epitome of a shady businessman. You provided the freeport with a vibrant sketchy atmosphere, and succeeding in making even the most mundane meetings memorable. Stellar character concept brought to life by an even more stellar writer. Thank you for all you've done to intimidate and 'make use of' Eddie, you generated a ton of great roleplay and were an inspiration on how to write an influential, well-fleshed-out character.
(Trouble Brightwood) - An uneasy challenge in Eddie's eyes. I appreciate how you used your character to generate roleplay and I always enjoyed interacting with you.
(Jack Thistle) - The only person Eddie truly considered a friend. The change from enemies to distrustful collaborators to the odd friendship they eventually settled in was a joy to play. Your writing style is fantastic, and I learned to be a better writer from how well you portray your characters. Jack was fascinating, and I'm so glad I had the opportunity to get to play a part in his story. Thank you for crafting so many engaging, memorable, and hilarious scenes with my character. I only wish I was able to make that last visit back to Skal before quitting NWN, seems like it wasn't meant to be.
(Frinno Topholiho) - Another character with a long history that mirrors Jack's. You have a brilliant way with words, and I loved interacting with you. While Eddie was less trusting of Frinno, there was no shortage of interesting scenes/banter. Thank you as well for helping me become a better writer.
(Alan) - A brilliant and complex character concept, you have an extremely powerful writing style and a great sense of humor. Another impactful character in Eddie's story, I wish I could've played out the progression of Alan's influence. Thank you for all the great and incredibly dysfunctional interactions between Alan and Eddie.
(Loewynn) - I appreciate the work you put into stirring intrigue in the Freeport and your character concept. Thanks for showing me some of your character's extremely well done custom items.
(Maerilye Bonescar) - Amazing character concept, thank you for a peek into your character's history, and for braving Eddie's social ineptitude.
(Prellia Nuthatch) - Huge kudos to anyone else who decides to play a Commoner for an absurd amount of time. I enjoyed your character and the work you put into your custom items, even if Eddie's distrust for the government kept him ever doubting Prellia's intentions.
(Ralic Fenbora) - Enjoyed hearing about your character's history throughout a dangerous trek on a quest for coffee. Thank you for adding a sense of adventure to the world through your roleplay.
(Valandil Silverleaf-Amante) - The descriptions you put into the items in your character's shop were amazing, I loved the concept of that store. Thank you for sharing your character's history, and for expanding Eddie's view of magic.
(Alashi Gryuk) - An intriguing character with a more intriguing worldview. Enjoyed debating with Alashi while in-between language lessons, you're a champion at 'show not tell' roleplay.
(Kali Brinsen) - Thanks for all the great interactions, I had a great time getting horribly lost in the desert with Kali.
(Kes Flockburrow) - Thanks a ton for generating fun conflict. I appreciate roleplayers willing to play out engagements like that, and you made the experience a great time.
(Resmin Thister, Nashat el Mourad, Rhehlein el Heishur) - Loved our brief interaction, thanks for the roleplay with such animated characters. Awesome writing styles and great sense of humor.
(The Archivist) - Fun character, loved the items you sold through them and the effort you put into their descriptions.
(Aura Bigstep) - A character that had a huge impact on Eddie's motivations. You turned a quick item exchange into a deeply interesting adventure. Thank you for being so willing to involve others in your character's story. It was a joy to hear about Aura's history while cowering behind trees as Eddie. Your prose is additionally a joy to read.
(Ellie Fettin, Rosalyn Ciccarelli) - Two extremely interesting characters.
To Rosalyn Ciccarelli - You played a well-rounded, fascinating character concept. Even though our interactions were brief, I greatly enjoyed roleplaying with you.
To Ellie Fettin - I loved your Commoner character concept and wish I could've interacted with her more. Thanks for allowing Eddie to showcase his flaws, and for providing him the opportunity to offer guidance to Ellie.
And to everyone else I had the joy to interact with, thank you for involving me in your character's story. It was a great time to roleplay with you all.

First one!
I played Rosalyn Ciccarelli and I had a blast being shown around the new Guldorand area by Eddie. That was actually my real first time exploring the new city, so having your help IC was really neat. While I'm not around much on that character, I did enjoy the brief time we got to play together. You do an excellent job at bringing life to a character.
I understand that trying to balance playing this game with RL can be tough, especially when things like job transitions happen. The proverbial door is always open and if you decide to hop back in, we'll go on another adventure sometime.

Eddie Lark was a fantastic character. I could feeeeeeel his discomfort and unease during every interaction. He will most definitely be missed. You're amazing. Thank you so much for the kind words. Good luck wherever life leads you. <3

Malie Aylomen here, I enjoyed making you cower too! Thanks for all the great RP, you were a ton of fun for her to harass, never a let down!

Eddie! No!
Well, I knew you were going, but it's still sad.
I really enjoyed Eddie from the first time he sold Jack a flea-bitten blanket in Skal, way up until the end where Jack and Eddie had majorly evolved into more complex and serious peoples. There has only ever been a few people Jack would have considered a friend, and one of them is definitely Eddie Lark.
I hope one day you might return, but if not, goodluck and be well! It was a pleasure.
