Goodbye Arelith
Been here about 20 months now, but a combination of events have given me the push to move on.
Thanks to those who were friends, and made logging in worthwhile.
A shame that it's come to this, but all things eventually end.
For those who are curious what happens to my characters now...
Glanor (aka Tom) packed up and went back to Chult, living out the rest of his days in peace with the wealth he accumulated.
Keane went across the seas to the mainland, bought a ship, and committed acts of piracy until he was eventually taken out by the Amnians, going down laughing with his ship.
Staz retired to a cave in the hills where he continued practicing his communion with all things.
Barnath returned to Eryndlyn and his house, his duties done for the time being.
My other characters sort of just faded into the background, like so many others do.

Re: Goodbye Arelith
I'm sorry to see you leave! I loved my time with Tom the Wand Merchant. He was a great character, but what made him really shine was the player behind him. Your ability to RP is superb.
Often times we fall into the trap of focusing on Meta PvP builds and who killed who, but with Tom it was all about the RP. Seeing such characters was refreshing and really brought the Fortress city to life for me and others.
I wish you the best wherever you go!

Was amazing interacting with Tom. The sort of character I was always happy to see. Will miss you a ton.

Tom has always been one of my favorite parts of the Guldorand scene, so I was really sad to see him go. I'm now doubly sad to hear you're leaving the server as well. I'm going to miss you and all the effort you put into your character, and making them a fun, different contribution to city life.

Tom was an amazing part of Guldorand. He gave the city some serious character (pun intended) that will be lacking without him. Thanks for the time and memories you gave us!

Best of luck! I enjoyed seeing Tom dutifully managing his wand stand--certainly an initial fixture of new Guldy for me.
