Itzal Mayar farewell kudos!

Post by eddymakaveli »

It was fun, Arelith! While I'm not quitting or taking a large break, Itzal's story is largely over and I loved every moment playing him.

The biggest thanks to Guldorand, for giving me the warmest experience for starting on a new server. I couldn't have ever stuck around on Itzal, if not for all the wonderful folks there.

Thanks to my fellow government members, from my time as High Sheriff. You all made the magic work!

Thanks to Kyari, for always helping Itzal see beyond his shadow

Thank you to Fjarna and Gwyr, for being the best RP partners a guy could ever want, and keeping Itzal grounded.

Thank you to Avalri, Myzzrin, Gwenllian, and Tove for being sisters that always took care of the Moonboy.

Thank you to Nate and Sabre, for the eternal parental guidance.

Thank you to Theodor, Varelas, and Roselyn! You all made my time here so amazing, with the stories we were able to weave.

Thanks Miranda, for being a really cool aunt.

Thank you to Derristan, Ivar, Chaesendra, and Angela. You guys all helped Itzal and I so much, IC and OOC. I love you all endlessly.

Thanks to Kessarin, for being a great second and even better friend to the Moon.

Thanks to the Artificer, for being such an interesting person to always be around.

And lastly, to Zelrunia. Itzal's tale literally started with you and him, canvassing the sewers. You are amazing.

AND A SPECIAL THANKS TO OTHER-ITZAL, AND TO THE ITZAL WHO WILL COME AFTER US, TO CARRY THE LEGACY

You're all amazing and I'll see you all soon on my next characters!

Thank you, Itzal!

You are absolutely the best RP partner I could ever ask for. We had a good run. Got into a bunch of trouble, laughed and cried. Through the good times and bad, you made my time playing Gwyr more enjoyable and I'm glad that they got a good, happy ending. Gwyr and Itzal may be putting their adventuring days behind them, but you and I will always be friends!

I look forward to writing more stories with you in the future.

I was not expecting to be this sad about Itzal's ddeparture. I really wish we could have spent more time together, especially after everything that happened to the both of our characters.

You've consistently been an absolute delight to interact with, both IC and OOC. Your willingness to engage with new characters and new ideas fostered an inclusive and dynamic environment where truly wonderful narratives were able to be explored. For all the love they had for one another, Itzal proved to be a destabilizing presence in Mystia's life, in all the best and most exciting ways - and we are a better community with the presence of people like you in it, who are able to introduce conflict in fun and meaningful ways to further character development. I am extremely thankful to have been able to share a story with you, and I hope that the tales ahead of you are just as fantastic as those you have resolved.

From their first interaction, Myzzrin has always had a soft spot in her heart Itzal. Often filled with worry and concern for him, she already saw him much like a younger brother even before they truly became family. Itzal has such a big heart and it never failed to show. Such a loveable character and a wonderful player to be in a community with. I know that you'll keep being a pillar of this community across your future characters. And you know damn well that Myzz is going to visit Brother and see her nieces/nephews. <3

It still very much saddens me that Itzal left so suddenly and Sabre wasn't present as much in the last of his story, but Itzal was always a nice one to be around. Sabre will definitely miss him, and hope he will send letters and come visit the little siblings and soft mom sometimes <3. Lots of love, hopefully your stories that continue will be as amazing.

I'm glad we got some closure for our characters, but sad to see him go.

Itzal was Kyari's first human friend, and she'll never forget him.

You were a lot of fun to booli! But seriously, you have always been very generous with your RP and happy to roll with the punches and be flexible. Itzal was a great character and I am sure he will be missed by many. You were a great nemesis to have on Theo.

Currently playing:
Eduard Helbrecht - Active

Thomas Castemont - Shelved

Liv McDowall - Rolled
Theodor Helbrecht - Rolled
Emma Young - Rolled
Ember Joyleaf-Underfoot - Rolled

It breaks my heart Tove couldn't see Itzal off. Itzal will be known as a character that burned bright and too fast. I'll miss our character's interactions. I'm sure we'll have characters that line up again sometime.

Itzal was very impressive for a first character, even for someone experienced with roleplaying. Entering a brand new world and system of mechanics like Arelith and becoming so integral a character as the leader of one of the major settlements (and doing so with unflappable spirit and a smile!) is no small thing. So kudos both to Itzal and the player behind him. Sai had some delightful times with him.

Is no one.
Was Lloyd Grimm, Sai Aung-K'yi, Stink Spellworped, Ikarus, and Revyn the White.

thanks for reviving rio that one time, and bonding with her over shared maztican heritage! she didn't end up liking him by the time she took a vacation from the isle... but it's the thought that counts :D and thanks for being nemerarie's brief verbal punching bag

Itzal will always have a special place in Ivar's heart as his favourite brave idiot, as well as the promising successor that got away.

You are a great Role Player, and a true asset to the community as a whole.

What a first character! Talk about promising beginnings. Had excellent interactions across multiple characters, even rolling one after being slain quite dramatically! :)
