New Drow Character Appearance

I made a new Drow character, and when she loaded into the starting area where I pick my gifts etc, her hair and skin colour is completely different than what I chose when creating her


I deleted the character and then waited 24 hours, remade her, and it happened again


I thought the new character would look how it was supposed to


The characters skin and hair colour were completely different than what was chosen


I'm not sure if it is a bug or if the Drow have certain colours locked and that's why it's happening

This is intended. You can change the color of your skin and hair in the starting area with the prismatic mirror, the colors can be found in http://wiki.nwnarelith.com/Character_Customization

To my knowledge this is definitely not intended. I have never made a character that had their skin and hair reset on entry.

Some questions:

Did you pick any wild and wacky colors for your drow? (Like red skin or bright green hair?)

Did you happen to toggle any tattoos?

There was an update recently-ish about tattoo now staying on the character after creation and I'm suspecting this might somehow be related.

- Tattoos added on character creation are no longer lost when entering the server for the first time.

Also have you tried using a completely different name?

It's intended. All elven subraces currently do this.
