Option to see all damaged equipment with current and full "health".
I would find it useful if there was an option, say maybe within the rest menu, that would list all your equipment, on your person, with current charges / full charges.
Would make it easier to see what is damaged.

Yes please! Drives me crazy not knowing what the max charges on items are. A logical place seems like it would be when you inspect the item, instead of saying:
Charges: 15
It would say
Charges: 15/20
I posted this to the suggestion board awhile ago, but it was never taken up

It might just be time for a revamp of the durability system. It's an ancient kludge, and I'd be surprised if there isn't a contributor with a better method in mind, by now.

Really like this idea. Think it might work best with a text command similar to "-date" like "-gear", which shows all your currently equipped items and their durability.
Titus' Helm: 19/26
Displacer Beast Cloak: 24/25
Adamantine Bracers of Persuasion: 8/25
And so on.

Also rather than an item actually breaking at 0, just make it unusable and unequip at 1 before repaired. An obvious failsafe with the age-old arse of full inventory dropping the item but immensely better than not having it.

I do not think this is a good idea. Items breaking, while rare, helps ensure there's a constant demand for new items.Opustus wrote: Sun Aug 22, 2021 7:12 pm Also rather than an item actually breaking at 0, just make it unusable and unequip at 1 before repaired. What we need are just better warnings and ways to keep track of our gear, as currently it's lost in the combat log in red text that too blends quite well.

If the mechanic exists or partly exists to destroy items, okay then I suppose. I thought it's there to incentivise people to interact by needing to buy kits or ask for repairs.

This is a WIP now.

If item breakage is rare then it's not a source of constant demand for new items.LovelyLightningWitch wrote: Sun Aug 22, 2021 7:35 pm

This feature should be live now.

It's in the announcements:
From Artenides
==============
- A new option has been added to the rest menu (Character => Equipment Durability) that prints the current durability/condition of all equipped items to the combat window.
