deafening clang overwrites temp essences
...At least on a cleric. Not sure about perm essences, since I am playing a cleric, but I suspect that whatever protects them from temp essensces overwritting also works with this.

While we're at it, other temp damage bonuses on weapons also overwrite temp essences. This includes but isnt limited to Deafening clang, Curse Weapon, spellsword imbue (unless that was fixed recently), and probably others. I can only presume this is because in the og design temp essences were coded in a way that prevents them from stacking with other temp essences from different damage type.

Not working still. It keeps the on-hit effect but removes the bonus 1d12 damage.
