(UD) slaves able to take surface writs?

Description of Bug Experienced:
I have seen now two UD slaves whom were able to take surface writs in Bendir. As far as I can remember slaves arent supposed to be able to take surface writs at all, unless something changed there recently?
I dont have a slave character myself to check but I have asked one in tell.


Steps to reproduce the Bug:
- get enslaved
- try to take a writ on the surface

Expected Result:
- writ manager refuses to give writ

Actual Result:
- writ given

Did they start as slaves or become slaves in game through RP. I think this can make a difference.

The one I asked became slave after creation.

This wouldn't be a bug, more a case of tagging/labeling.

Characters enslaved at or after character creation can use the hub portal. I'm not sure if their transit with the ferryman Laurick is still blocked, but I'll go on the assumption that slaves (that aren't outcasts (but who would ever do something like that right?)) are free to roam mechanically speaking.

Outcasts and other underdark races would be blocked from surface writs/certain travel.

Yes of course I made an outcast slave once. I'm bizarre.
