Crash upon login

After the last update/reset, the game always crashes upon loading screen after login.

Steps to reproduce
----------------------------
Login, try to play the game.

Expected result
-----------------------
Login, loading screen, play the game.

Actual result
-------------------
Login, loading screen, crash.

Misc Notes
----------------
Tried reinstalling the game, delete and download anew all the arelith sync files.
Not using any overrides.
The game works just fine on other serves and in single player mode.

Same Problem here.

Yeah. Just as a note for everyone. This is a development issue. There aren't steps any individual can take to 'fix' this on their end until it's handled on their side. At which point, once the tile(s) causing problems are fixed then the issue will resolve itself. Just have to be patient

But not really crashed.
If I remember, it was Guld Trade Hall for me prior reset.
On logging in, screen is only black, can access inventory, spell book, character sheet and journal fine. Can even cast spells and chat (Displayed in chat menu and feedbacks)
Its just... well... all black

Arcane Tower for me. Crash trying to enter, crash on re-logging in.

Similar issues:

Logged in, crashed when entering the upper floor in the Hub. game won't let this char in. It will however let my other two chars into the game without any issues (Bendir and the Campsite).

I'm now logged in and in the Hub with one of my characters, but my friend's character who is in Saltspar causes a crash on login. My other character who is in the inner upstairs floor of the hub also crashes on login.

Similar problem with the arcane tower, now i cant log into the game at all every time i try it crashes and tells me to contact Beamdog. If i try to log into a different server it redirects me back to surface and i crash.

Odd though, i use steam not the Beamdog launcher?

As noted before. There is currently an issue with assets, based on the crash log. Any area that you look into right now or enter which has any of the impacted tiles or assets whatever specific one it may happen to be, will cause an instant crash to desk top and you will not be able to log into said character.

If you aren't in one of the impacted areas you're going to be okay. Unless you enter one of said areas, where you'll crash and not be able to get in again

Is it possible for the dms to remove characters from such areas to unaffected ones without them being bounced back to the broken area?

To the folks behind the scenes that fix these things....for $0 and their own time....thank you so very much. I am certain I am speaking the same sentiment as many are thinking. And thanks for this thread post too as I wandered here worried it might be "just me". While I'm sad for my fellow players not being able to login either, it is comforting to find out it is system wide. Now I'll just worry about all the leases impacted if the outage lasts too long. I mean, Rami 's school fund needs its influx of coin after all! This old guy wishes the best for all.

Definitely agreed. Things go wrong sometimes but it's awesome to have people looking into things to fix 'em on their own time.

Should be fixed once you download the latest manifest. Manifests may fail because everyone is downloading. But you’ll eventually download it all.
