Ranger Blood Lust?

Hey there! So, I'm reading the description for Bloodlust, and has anyone used/tried this?

New feat option (including bonus feat): Blood Lust (Ranger 15, Str 15, Con 15)

-Blade thirst grants additional vampiric regeneration equal to a ranger's HARD constitution modifier. -Awaken grants their animal companion regeneration equal to a ranger's HARD constitution modifier.

I have a STR Ranger Firbolg. And, he will reach a +4 Blade Thirst. Does this change every attack to a +7 regen? He has 16 CON base.

Just curious, because if that is the case, he will have 52 Regen per round if every attack lands. Just making sure thats correct!

That should be right.
You can also use the command -transfer(While on your character on the live server) to transfer a copy of that character to the PGCC test server, there you can level/Gear it to test more.

Yup. Playing one myself, it is great. Also 16 base (atlthough actual recommendation often is 20 CON base for STRangers) so I have 8 vamp regen (at 26 ranger you get +5). Do also take Call of the Wild. +9 AC on your animal companion will elevate it a lot in usefulness even in epic dungeons, making you solo a lot more stuff (and you can use it effectively in groups too, though I usually avoid doing that because too many bodies).

that’s some useful info for me as well, 20 CON thou, hard for a regular ranger to reach. I got a lv2 wood elf with Star 18 and 14 con/dex/int/wis, must test him out in PGCC. And see if snake/spider/raven is interesting. Everyone is bear badger panther( hail Drizzt, this one I actually like)

Do totem ranger if you dont want bear (best offense) /dire wolf(best ac) /panther(sneak attack) . Other companions are meh, so better reskin instead of taking suboptimal companion

As for 20 con, yeah, elves dont have it easy. Dwarves and horcs get easily though (and 24 str)

Thanks for the note, Woodelf boost str, so start with 18 con is not much of a issue , but on second thought, I don’t want a silly ranger at all LOL. I’ll have a look on the doc about ranger companions and test them out on pgcc. Totem path is a good way to get around things.

6 favored enemies and 10 studies enemies. Spoiled for choice.

Here you go. You really don't need 20 CON if I'm being honest. 16 is plenty. Skip EDR. It's no good.

It is crazy, I was testing out on PGCC (using wood elf instead) the dex can easily being compensated by spell. Even for rp perposes 12 is decent... and taking transmutation focus to gain teleport is not bad either. Sacrifice some power for fun.

Dual Wield Lesser Vile Bites (+4 Vamp Regen Swords)

7 attacks, 13 Regen Per Hit, 51ish AB, but only about 45 AC lol

Some things it was great at, other not so much.
