Languages Wonky Again

I just sat through the play at the nomad my Sylvan didn't go up. I have noticed when you go to the language trainer on the ship, the specific language rises. But after a RL hour of listening to the play, it didn't budge at all.

If you are still having an issue with learning after another reset please update this thread or send me a PM with your build and some info on the below set of interactions.
There are a few things that can cause some weirdness that I will need to look at:
Languages gained by class
Languages gained by race
Languages taken on creation
Languages learned during play
Max hard ranks in intelligence
Gift of learning
Class bonus to language caps

All of these interact in one way or another and so more detail will be very much appreciated.

As per a similar issue, please provide more details as above.
Also make sure to check that it was not a "faulty" book by acquiring a new one.
